I live in Houston. I work for a transfer service f/t, and we evac'd several hospitals before the storm hit. After the power was restored, we helped bring the patients back.
The worst hit was Galveston, and the Bolivar penninsula. There are still over 20 people still missing and presumed dead.
Oh, I get it. You have someone you work with that has Parkinsons.
Are they taking their meds? Do they have the obvious signs of the disease?
Details, details!!!
You treat the Parkinson's patient no differently than any other patient. You are there to help, aid, and assist. It doesn't matter what the disease process.
Maybe you can elaborate further on your question?
I too was on Lexapro for much the same reasons, and I found out the withdrawl symptoms left me feeling very disconnected. I am currently not on any meds, but if I were to go south again, I would not hesitate to do it again.

What school are you attending? My service does ridealongs as well....if you are on the southside, you might want to catch a ride with us.

I am from the southside of Atlanta, and I too am I/85 certified. I work at a true "you call, we haul" service. I start medic school next week. I work on the firefighter schedule, 24 on, 48 off.
