I learned today that Raz, going by @LACoGurneyjockey , passed away at home off duty. He was 23 and a paramedic supervisor for Liberty Ambulance in Kern County, CA. Sad news. RIP.

Wow... Way to young.

wait what? at 23???? that can't be right, 23 is too young to go.....

RIP @LACoGurneyjockey :(:(:(

Oh wow

Way too young... may he rest easy. We've got it from here.

So sorry to hear.

RIP and comfort to his family and friends.

That’s heartbreaking. He seemed like a real nice guy and his posts were always informative. My condolences to his family and everyone at Liberty.

It was one of those things you kind of wish wasn’t what it was.

What I mean by that is: I questioned whether this was him or not when I’d heard about the unfortunate news. Regardless of who it is, I agree, it’s definitely most unfortunate and disheartening news.

Our company set up shifts to backfill for the services this past week.

R.I.P., bro. The county lost a good paramedic. Condolences to the friends and loved ones.

Rest easy buddy. The Central Valley won't be the same without you.

Does EMTLife ever put a black stripe over their banner or anything?

RIP

Such sad news. His family, friends, and colleagues are in my thoughts.

I've updated the EMTLife banner in recognition of the loss of one of our own.

Damn really sad and terrible for his family and friends right before the holidays, and so so young. Rest easy friend. Thoughts and prayers to the family. Ya just never know when it's your time. Any news on a cause? So so young it's scary.

RIP. Never easy to lose a fellow member of the community. We lost one of the firefighters out at the station I was at earlier this year and we all are still feeling the loss.

Very sad :-(

RIP Brother we have it from here; save a place for us all when it is our turn to come over
