48 hours every 8 days? How does that work out?I'm currently on a 24 on, 24 off, 24 on, 5 days off. It's amazing.

So your telling me you get to work less and make the same pay? Is your outfit hiring?Fantastically! Basically every few weeks I come up a pay period short, so we have "debit days" depending on how the debit day is scheduled I either work it or don't work and still get paid. This year I only have to do 5 paid debit days.

Damn I need ti make a move to east TexasYep, pretty much and my hourly rate is actully more than my previous job as well. I think we are, but only hire Paramedics.
I do like the 2/2/3, but the best I think is Hall Ambulance's rotating 4/3 3/4 12-hour shifts. Oh, for California skies!
A huge amount of HFD lives in or around San Antonio and Austin. Or anywhere else that's not Houston... LolHoly crap that is epic scheduling. Do you take commuters from San Antonio?
I worked a set 48 in Yakima, every Friday and Saturday. It worked great, letting me work a whole second job in my off time. While the 48 was brutal, the set schedule made up for it.
@RocketMedic Hall ambulance also does 8s , 10s, starting at 6am to starting at 4pm. Those are easy peak cars. Along with the 12s that start at every hr.
12s also have a schedule that you can get every other Friday sat sun off but work every other Fri sat sun. Hard to explain.
24s are OXOXOXOXXXXOXOXOXOXXXXXX.. IT'S a mod Kelly. 4off every 4th and 6off the next.
Then our 48s are super nice. With 8 days off on the 3rd 48.
