Hi, I'm ivan and i finished my emt course already. I also took the National skills test last thursday held at our school. However, since i'm a senior and will be moving out in a week(graduation). I haven't yet took the Cognitive test i'm wondering if i should take it now here in Minnesota, but then again each state have different protocols, maybe if i took it to Texas(New state im moving in) i might take the emt course again or they have a different cognitive test there? and i don't want to fail or redo the course again. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you for taking your time to help me

If the state you are moving to uses NREMT as their test then it doesn't matter where you take the NREMT test so long as you pass it.

Some states do not accept NREMT and will have their own test and testing procedures.
