Re-cert question

So my EMT- B expires 3/31/17 and my Paramedic class is over April of 2017. If I'm thinking correct I will have to renew my EMT- B still even though i will be getting My medic the next month pending I pass the Test. Just trying to get my ducks in a row and money set aside for all this :)
 
Correct. Most paramedic programs require you to stay current during the entire program. It sucks, but thats the way your recert dates fell lol

Check with your paramedic program they may be able to give you a recert certificate for your EMT renewal. I know the program I went to would sign off on EMT renewals during the course so you didn't have to find an additional course during the program.
 
Correct. I had to renew my EMT cert a month before I got my medic license. It was very costly
