Hi everyone,
I've been lurking for a while so just thought I'd introduce myself before posting. I'm a 21 year old wife and mama to a 2 year old boy. My husband is an RN at a trauma center and is a huge motivation of mine.
I'm a certified nursing assistant with 1.5 years of emergency department experience. I'm ready to further challenge myself and will be starting a night EMT class in May, so I'm looking to learn as much as possible before beginning. I'm TOTALLY stoked and I'm going to do this. Our paramedic program does not require EMT experience so I'm wanting to jump right in after I complete EMT.
Anyway, just wanted to say hi! I'm also hoping to meet other girls here and get some good insight into what I should prepare for.
