Is this true? I was under the impression there's TOO MANY emts. But recently I've heard the number of people going to emt school has dropped 40%? I recently got my license in August and now looking for work. Every place I applied called me the day after for an interview. I've been on about 4 interviews, was hired at but one left, went on another interview but they wanted emt experience which I didn't have, got offered a position at another company but wanted me to go to another location too far for me so I declined, and today I was offered a position at another company. I've been being told "We're in dire need of emts right now" and today the HR manager said something along the lines of "the business isn't good right now."
Like I said I was under of the impression that's there's plently of emts out there and that's why companies don't pay high etc, etc.
