I'm on my phone, sorry for any typos or spelling mess ups.
Tone, I'm going to be direct and say that the "tone" of your posts has been arrogant and condesending. Online your words are all we have to go by; there is no facial expressions, or tone of voice. Because of this you have to adjust how you say things to make sure they are interpreted the right way.
From reading your post I think you may be misunderstanding the difference between respect and what is common practice. Where I work the paramedic is technically in charge because they are ultimately responsible. So even if the Emt is writing the report the paramedic's name is listed first. It has nothing to do with respect.
Really, so what if your co workers get their daily ego boost at work? Unless someone is out of control and isn't doing their job properly, does it really matter? Humans crave recgonition for their actions, get used to it. No matter where you work people will be like that.
Something to remember about the forums is that you don't automatically know how old someone is or how many years of experience people have. Keep in mind that the people you are speaking with may have been in EMS for 25 years, and that they know what they are talking about. They may also still be in class. Regardless they all deserve to be treated with respect simply becuase they are your fellow human beings.
