So I just passed National Registry and I have no idea how to get my state card, help would be appreciated.

Go to your county EMS office and fill out the paperwork for the state.

So, just walk in and ask about the state card and they'll walk me through it then? Ok, thank you.

Google your county's EMS office. On their website there should be forums to fill out and prices along with the steps needed.

Do EMT courses really not cover this anymore? There seems to be a lot of threads here asking pretty much the exact same question...

Anyway, just Google your county's EMS Agency and they'll have step by step directions. Which usually boil down to fill out the application, do a Live Scan, give them some money and wait on your card in the mail.

They don't, or at least mine didn't. Didn't even know about the state card until after I passed my NREMT...

Yeesh, even my accelerated month long course made sure we all knew how to do all that, after all its as an important part of becoming an EMT as anything in the Orange Book.... (not that that's necessarily your fault OP, well unless that's the day you missed class lol :P )

What county are you in?

Methinks you were daydreaming that portion of the lecture.

There are state and county offices and websites with exactly the information you are looking for.

And yes, you just walk in and they help you.
