Hmmmm. Most of the female Medics I know would have yanked his arm out of it's socket if he was lucid or if he is suffering from dementia just shrugged it off. This sounds like a deep pocket book related reaction.

Shouldn't mess with medical personnel treting you. Could distract them leading to a fatal medical error.

People, he is 83. He is probably suffering from dementia or something! That or he is a total idiot who thinks he can get away with it.

As bad as that article makes it sound, I would have to reserve judgment till I know the whole story. Four paragraph news stories are HORRIBLY unreliable.

Private plane simply means he could have chartered it or his insurance chartered it, certainly does not mean he owns it or has deep pockets.

And if he needed medical escort....then obviously something was wrong with him...

Keep in mind that the action was enough that the medical staff on board brought charges against him. Don't you think if it was 'just dementia' that they would have shrugged it off?

The report says it was 'his private plane'.
