but i think this is why i feel narcan should be reserved for EMS trained personnel.

We make the cops recert the CPR card every 2 years, but a one nd done class on narcan is not sufficient to maintain the skill, even if its an online training video

So instead of taking away Narcan from police, why not introduce a refresher class into the training curriculum?

I dont think the political environment would allow that to happen in this state. The police forced this through for a variety of reasons that werent actually in the best interested of patient care. We already have a hard enough time getting them to remain fit tested and keep their CPR cards up to date
