Answer is..... Service must have bbp/ppe available to use if needed. If the EMT sees that full body ppe is required, then put it on. Dude did say. When or if an OSHA inspection happens, full body ems turn out gear better be in ambulance. So no, EMTs do not have to wear bbp/ppe coat and pants...
We ordered on last summer and delivery is after the first of the year. we are happy for this power cot. and as for "wait and hold up for two legs to come down", no issue. as you will not be holding any weight while the legs go up and down. We had a demo and super easy. we had the smallest EMT...
amber lights; Most of the time they are run in conjunction with red/blue emergency lights. I can't think of a time where I'd only have yellow lights on.
Flood lights: at accident scene you would use these to illuminate your work area next to the ambulance. Ours dont really reach that far, but...
we are very close to an Iowa Paramedic. if we ever get D-50 and trained to read the 12 lead. that'd be right up there. (the lower level of IA paramedic)
thanks MyCroft. yes I assume the oil would be a big part. keeping it warm. wonder how much it would cool down in 15 or 20 min though. I'm trying to find an ambulance service in MN, IA, WI or other cold states that have this system.
DE Medic, I like the idea of totally inside the box. thanks...

We are looking at getting a power cot lift. not a power cot, but one that is body mounted.
We in MN have lots of snow and ice. To go along with that sand, salt and slush.
Anybody have thoughts and experiances on these issues in northern states...
I juice the kale and cellery first, and then apples, oranges and whatnot. this pushes the green stuff out of nooks and crannys. makes it easy to clean too.. I also put a plastic grocery bag in the big hopper to catch the crap. MUCH easier to clean. takes me just over a min to clean the machine...
just found this thread. I too found this movie on Netflix a couple months ago. wife and I have been juicing for a few weeks now. feel great. we eat one meal a day. mostly fish or chicken and small helping of potatos and some mixed veggies.
I don't have a scale, but I can tell I lost a few...
We recently went to King's instead of Combitubes.
I got to use one the over day on a MVA.
it went in very fast. much faster then the combi. If your service hasn't made the switch yet. push for it..
3 birds, RochesterMN, Eue Clare, WI (sp), and Mankato MN. and one (?) jet for long range transport.
the birds are staffed by mostly RN's, but last few years they staff with paramedic's with all kinds of letters behind thier names.
considering the time it takes to get it off the ground...
MAYO 1 bird is auto dispatched all the time depending on what the first caller says about the accident. and that's what Mayo wants. faster responce times. all ways can get called off.
