how about a 62 year old lady who was *um* shall we say lonely, and only had a frozen fish that proceeded to defrost and the fins got impaled. Um, Med Control, Um, you aren't going to believe this but...
I like the old time favorites such as:
dripping IV fluids on the probies through the ceiling panel while they slept
turning on lights and sirens (tagging) of other ems vehicles when we find them unoccupied (in the store, at hospital, etc)
making up "ads" and posting them at the other...
it's 40 to 60 mg/kilo/day divided into 6 hr doses PO, not to exceed 200 mg/kilo < 6 year old. Be sure to check with other forms of medications at they may also have tylenol in them. Hope this helps.
How about new medications?
We had one of our own, who was given an antibotic recently, and acted like he/she was having a cerebral hemmorrhagic event. Funny thing was, this person had this type of antibotic before and had no reactions to it. Spent 5 days in the ICU and is now back to work...
Around here, the local ambulance co. has a rehab that has supplies that are billed to the fire department in charge of that jurisdicition. And if you don't have at least 8 tankers on scene, you won't have enough water to fight the fire. Typical fire around here is 3 engines, 2 support vehicles...
Sometimes they might. Also try American Medical Response. I got a letter from them yesterday and they stated "relocation incentives". I know that this will not go over very well, but also look into the nursing facilities there. At least you will be in the medical field and it does look good on a...

Don't do it, don't do it, Don't do it.
We have 2 power pro's and have had 8 people get blown out of the shift due to injuries from them because they weight so much more and take more time to load. Even with help, there are so many "pinch" points where fingers get crushed and I do mean...
If your looking to get heated up...try PMT or Southwest Ambulance in Phoenix. I hear that they are always looking for help but I'm not sure what they are looking for. Could also try AMR (American Medical Response).
You think that was bad, try this one. Arrived at a full code with SNF stating the pt has a DNR but they don't know where it is. Sister on scene states that the pt would not have done such a thing and to work her. Get pt worked and arrive at hospital with a pt who has a Blood pressure and pulse...
I'm so glad this worked for you. I've been teaching the scouts (boys and girls) for years about first aid and cpr for like camping trips and such. Come to find out that one of my "beginner class" students is now taking medical classes in the hopes of being a doctor. As for the first class being...
oh the horror...but at least they didn't drive and cause even more problems lol:wacko: can you imagine them in an accident and trying to treat..." he's not bleeding that badly..."
