that proves one thing that auto makers have the technology to build a car that we most likely won't die in. but we want the loudest radio and the tv so the kids will stay quiet. we dont think that we will ever be in an accident so we dont worry as much about safety till its to late.

i use to transport a pt that was on O2 to dialysis and that pt would never go untill they finished smoking. I learned the first time I ever got that pt not to say anything about that. Lets justs say it was the joke on the newbie.

One thing that u might want to check out. Is call around to the different services and see if they hire emt students as "drivers". But just let me say this.. You will have a better chance of getting on as a "driver" at a "private service" than you would at "9-1-1 service".

NR CEU's I am a new EMT and I was wondering if can you do all of you CEU's for "NR" online if you don't want to take the refresher class??

I think that all ambulances should have a computer like what is in a police vehicle. That way you have a GPS but you also have extra items. For example dispatch can send you all the info they were able to get from the caller. Also dispatch would know your location. So if you was to need help...

I want to keep my NR even though TN doesn't make u. Does anyone know if I can just get all 72 hrs of my CEU's online or does NR set a limit of how many online classes you can use? THANKS!!!!!
