I went into my program 5 months after getting my Basic. I took an accelerated course which was approximately 11 months long. It was a long hard road. SO many clinical hours in such a short amount of time! I was lucky to have good friends around for support!

Thanks Farmer! I took it through EMSTAR in Elmira, NY...they go through Arnot Health. It was an accelerated 10 or 11 month course. I had to bust my *** since I was a basic only 4 months before this! :blink:

I too have just begun my Paramedic schooling. In my program it's condensed down to 11 months. I have only been an EMT-B for 5 months, so I am going to be hitting it hard as well!
