That's great!

I just got certified as EMT in June. No work experience, but I'm thinking of going right into a EMT-P program.

Did you have prior EMT experience? Is it necessary?

Thanks, and congratulations!

thanks!

I went into my program 5 months after getting my Basic. I took an accelerated course which was approximately 11 months long. It was a long hard road. SO many clinical hours in such a short amount of time! I was lucky to have good friends around for support!

I would say you're fine going into Medic school, but I would choose a program that is a normal length of time 1.5-2 years. You can do eet!:D

I am so glad that you posted on here saying that you passed medic school. I was reading an older post when you first started and was thinking "I AM IN THE EXACT SAME BOAT" as of right now I am only on my first semester and things are going great! I do have a question though, which class was the most difficult for you? I see alot of people have problems with cardio and medical. What is your view of them?
