im certified emt-b in texas but i can get free school since my dads a dean in jew jersey, can i take the paramedic or aemt course in new jersey and pay to transfer lisences? i plan to do that school there to be with family and then come back to texas for the RN transition course or just transfer...

would it be easier or faster to become a paramedic first and then transition to RN i have already done 2 of the prerequisits in college to become a nurse but then switched and took my emt basic course. but now that im certified i am having a hard time getting hired especially in a hispital...

like if a big chunk is hanging to the side covered with dirt from a motorcycle accident would you brush it off first before setting it back in place and bandaging? or would it be more important to get them to the hospital as fast as possible and just pack the wound dirty (rocks and dirt)

i strongly recommend switching to a college at least for the certification. the hands on experience helps alot and at the end of the course we did ride alongs and actually experienced the job. alot more fun too that sitting behind a computer. you also get to tour the local hospitals that way...

hospital because of the room for advancement. once you get your foot in the door they usually hire within. plus lots of hot nurses to look at :)

what is drug testing like where you work? how often do they test you and when? also do they pat you down? i know when i was in the navy they would watch you so hopefully its not as strict.
