Yeah, same here. And often, they're not actually seizures. They're often either someone having the DTs or just pretending to have seizures so they can go to the hospital :rolleyes:
Hmmmmmmmm....yeah, I automatically thought of head injury/concussion. This is very similar to how I presented after my ambulance wreck. Or so I've been told LOL I was pretty outta it, so I don't know for sure.
As an EMT-Basic, I primarily do the Dr appts, the dialysis runs, the takebacks from local hospitals to nursing homes or other residences, the BLS transfers from one hospital to another. :) But I also have the chance to work MVAs, seizures, psych patients, etc. Just depends on which crews are...

My first trauma as a brand-new EMT-Basic all by myself and my partner was a 1 veh 10-46 over the hill with entrapment and possible ejection because there was a little kid out of the vehicle, up on the road. Got there, the father was REALLY bad off and ended up dying later from what I found out...
