Job opportunities for new EMT

I just passed the NREMT and have been looking for work. There doesn't seem many jobs out there. I am in the Fort Myers FL. Any advice?
 
If moving really is an option your should think about Dallas. My Company is hiring EMTs and starting pay is around 45k.
 
Unfortunately moving not an option. My wife is the main bread winner and her company will not let us move. Just have to keep a positive outlook. God will smile down upon us soon, this I am sure of.
 
You will in all likelihood have to work for a transfer company. That area of FL is covered by Lee County EMS.
Collier County to the southeast of you is.also a county based ems that might hire soon

I don't know how far you are from Ocala but I heard they are dying for people.

Have you thought of, or are you able to get your paramedic?
