get Training for Water Rescue, Search and Rescue,
and whatever else may help me?

I hear the navy seals have one hell of a program. Are you in peak physical condition, in the top 10 percentile of your class and have 7 years to spare?

Ive seen classes offered in northern california but nothing in SoCal that's I've seen at least.

Swiftwater rescue training

Your best bet in California is Rescue 3. They have classes in No Cal and other areas. You could always join us for a class but we teach in Belize in Central America..

Check LA County ocean lifeguards

They may know who to contact for more info. Thay also tend to be cute (to the respective gender, harrrumph).

On a side track, ask them if they know who Dwight Crum was. Most laypersons don't.
