BGL (at the lab at the hospital) over 2200 survived, left hospital 2 weeks later.

Weight: 2 or 3 patients over 1000lbs. 1 pt gave birth at 750lbs.

BAC .484 (never bet on BAC with ED docs: they always win).

Lies I am the BAC king.

Oh, oldest pt too? When I started in Fire/EMS in 2007, I had a patient who was born in 1899! I couldn't believe it! Unfortunately she passed away a few weeks after I ran on her.

Can you imagine the changes she had seen? Good grief!

Highest BGL was 2,189. Obviously had to be measured by the hospital.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned call volumes yet!

Busiest shift-23 runs in 18 hours (this was during a big storm).
Longest time without a run while full time: 3.5 unit days

(Chief walked in and yelled at us to stop napping at 10 am. So we asked him what he wanted us to do and he said that since it was the first week of the month, all of the monthly chores could still be done. We showed him that they were--completed last shift. All of the cabinets had been fully reorganized and inventoried (a goal to be completed 3 months late), HVAC system filters replaced, and yes, even the sidewalk washed. "Hmmm... Well then... Carry on.")

Longest time without a run as a volunteer: 4 months and 14 days.

Though I'm getting close--last run for me was August 10th. so we're at 4 months and 5 days right now...
