I saw a somewhat related question in this section so i hope i am not far off topic.

My question is concerning the various codes on prescription medications. When i receive a medication, the drug may contain a prefix, such as APO- or RATIO- eg: APO-IBUPROFEN or RATIO-OXYCOCET and underneath there are other confusing codes such as WHT/RND/NONE {APO / 300} or, WHT/RND/TEC {|}. Is there somewhere that has a pharmaceutical glossery?

Just curious.

A lot of what you're seeing is for pill identification. There are so many generics of different medicines, so WHT RND 300 indicates that what's in the bottle should be white, round, and have 300 stamped on the pill.
