Drunk man steals ambulance out of Sharp Hospital

SAN DIEGO - A 52-year-old man stole an ambulance at Sharp Memorial Hospital (map A) Saturday and led San Diego police on a 12-minute pursuit around Clairemont before officers flattened the rig's tires with a spike strip, authorities said.

Paul John Sos was arrested about 7 a.m. on suspicion of drunken driving, auto theft, evading police and driving on a suspended license charges, San Diego police officer Brad Ruff said. No one was injured.
