Hello all,

Does anyone know of free on line practice medic tests or quick refresher pages?

A web page to help us brush up on things we may have forgotten do to never using since medic school.

A lot of the tests I've stumbled upon are pretty outdated now with their treatments, but are otherwise sound. Best bet is to check out the education section of this site and/or do a search.

The links ones below are great & quick refreshers if you've sold your school books and refuse to invest.

oh no.. I have all of EMS books...from 1st responder to my 2 tons of medic books. I recommend keeping your books for future reference.

I am looking for a more compact refresher thing

I just found a bunch of podcasts which are very interesting. They are a bit beyond the scope of a 911 paramedic but more education cannot hurt, right? You will also remember some things in pharm/pathophys just by listening.

Also, the other day, I was going through a pretty nifty NREMT-P review work book at borders. I do not remember the name but I am sure you can find it at your local bookstore. It was compact, comprehensive, and forced me to remember/review a lot from the first half of didactic.
