OKC tornadoes

Stay safe and Godspeed to those of you in that neck of the woods.
 
Its pretty bad. Some of the kids died, trapped in wreckage. Blocks leveled. 91 fatalities.

I heard Moore is no longer requesting additional resources for tonight. Any idea where one could head to volunteer on my days off?
 
Im hoping we get activated, but I doubt it happens.

Hope for the best for everyone involved

You can join the Red Cross as a spontaneous volunteer. They will need help delivering food, bulk (cleanup) supplies, and you can use your EMS is skills in Disaster Health Services.

The DHS team goes out as people are cleaning up and offer first aid to those who need it. When I was in Alabama in 2011, my teams saw lots of lacerations and a few broken arms from those searching through debris and cleaning up their properties. Just because the storm is over doesn't mean injuries stop.
