Hey, I'm new to the group....just joined today. Have been looking around for an ems site and finally found your. So far I've seen a lot of cool posts.

A little about me. I'm a paramedic in Pinellas county for 5 yrs. I have a 15 yo daughter and a 20 yo son (who's in the Navy), am married, have 1 dog and 2 cats.

I always love hearing stories from those who have more life experience than I do. :)

If you don't mind me asking, what were you before you were a Paramedic? Did you work as an EMT for a while, or go straight though to Paramedic?

Good to have you, and I hope you stick areound and continue to post :)

I began in our materials dept while finishing EMT school -- then worked as an EMT while going through medic school. Before all of that....I was a secretary for 16 years.
 
Welcome. I'm from PA... and I get to drive some former Pinellas county EMS vehicles at work. Nice trucks.

I'm Jon... I used to live here, but now seem to have less time to spend here.
