Now that I'm answering on a real keyboard... I started when I was 16 w/ a Ninja 500R... then had a nasty wreck and was off two wheels for a few years. Then bought an 07 Ninja 650R which was well on it's way of becoming a track toy (636 front end swap, new rear shock, changed out the swingarm, new plastics, Muzzy full system, PCIII tuned) when it got stolen. Used insurance money to put a hefty down payment on an 07 ZX-6R... then it got stolen too. Once I get a little more time I wanna find an 04-06 ZX-636 (6R) or 00-02 ZX6R/ 05-09 ZZR600 (same bike). I really miss being on two wheels.

not street bikes, but i do have a couple of dirtbikes.
this is my baby, im couting down the days till i can afford to ride it again!

'06 WR450 tagged supermoto. Street tires on 17's with a few extras (slipper clutch, Yosh pipe, Braking rotors/calipers, etc.). Can't be beat for fun around town.

Go for an 05-06 636 they're AWESOME I only ever get to ride as a passanger but my boyfriend LOVES it. Its such a solid sound bike. I'd get one but i dont wanna copy him lol. It also tears up the track!! Great bike...sexy bike....
 
its just a little 250 but i love it...lookin at an 04-06 CBR 600rr next =]

I've ridden several of them as rentals at a roadcourse track, and loved it. Probably gonna have to wait till I get out of P-school, sicne it would just sit a lot of the time... even with saddle bags, those bikes are a pain to carry large quantities of text books on. Did that with the 07 ZX-6R for a while.

It doesn't matter what kind or engine that is in it as long as you enjoy cruising around and being safe.
 
haha carrying texkbooks on a bike PERIOD is just painfull. I probably got one of the cushyist seats out there and its still annoying/painfull. I get where your comin from, plus you can't just let something THAT beautiful just sit around ;)

If I find a good way to carry books it won't :) My commute to medic school is almost 80 miles 1 way... so if I can carry the books well enough and find a bike, it won't be just sitting around :p
