Current numbers were 58 DOAs, and 515 injured.
Reports were that AMR did a full recall of all off duty personnel. There is no way any system can handle that much of a surge in a short time period, so extra units (and having spare vehicles) is critical. It sounds like both the FD and EMS did the best they could during this horrible situation.
I think 1 Level I, and 2 Level II; every hospital worked adults; cardiac hospitals, and peds hospitals, urgent care clinics, etc.
Blood center opened at Midnight, and surrounding states sent people to help with that too
