What's up everybody? I'm Shawn. 20 yrs old from Louisiana. I'm a nursing student waiting to get into clinicals and attending emt school this summer. I have a question. Does your state have EMT-Is? Here in Louisiana you're either a basic or paramedic. I was just wondering if any other states were like that.

Anatomy isn't too bad. I switched colleges last semester and I took anatomy over and in the process of taking physiology over to better my gpa. My first college it was anat and phys together and was killer. The community college I'm at is not nearly as detailed as my other one was. I don't have anything else to take after this semester-just waiting to get in the program.

Here they combine A&P into A&P I and II. The classes are basically the same, its just II continues where I left off in the book. Are you going for BSN or AAS?
 
the first university I went to was like that and it was BSN. I switched to a community college and it's an ADN program. It's all the same-we take the same test and start out money wise the same. You going for BSN?
 
I am, just so I have a Bach in something. Looks good on resume's too, other than that, its about the same.

Yes it's Wikipedia, but it's fully sourced. B)

Note: That list doesn't include number of providers at the level, just that the level exists. There is differentiation between levels with people who were grandfathered in with no new providers being certified at that level. Also, some levels are extremely rare. For example, there are less than 200 EMT-IIs (two) (EMT-Intermediate) in California.

I'm thinking about changing it so that there's an education requirement column and a number of providers column in addition to a pure "level" list.
