Insomnia

I know this is a random spewing, but I ate a ton ot food today, thinking it would help me to sleep through the night half of my 24. Nope... Woke up at 2 am, without the aid of a dispatcher, and havent been able to sleep since. Anyone else suffer from non-dispatch induced insomnia on the job?

I have trouble sleeping after 2pm. Before then I can fall asleep anywhere with no problem.

Started work at 0830 already got a 20min nap on the way to the first call.

I was out shopping all night, and im beat.

I never get a deep sleep though. Im too afraid ill miss something or a call.

dude, there are times where i just simply do not go to bed. I lay down at 10pm and will just stay awake till 3am, and then get up, so i dont miss my shift.
