I got Hired for my First Job!!!!!

Looks like I got hired for a nice low call volume Ambulance Comapny 30 minutes outside of town, pending a drug test, which I will pass. It looks like an awesome little company to bein my career with.

But now I am suffereing from the OH $#!+ syndrome!!!

HELP! I have never gotten educated on how to spike a bag, messed around with a gurney, or used those vital machines they have. All my calls have been with the FD and I dont know how to use this stuff!!!!

I need some experienced gurus to help me figure out what I need to know going into my first job. I dont want to be an idiot on my first day.

Congratulations!!

Since this is your first gig, make sure you ask questions. Obviously if they hired you they like you. And it's better for you, your partners and your patient if you are honest with yourself and your team and let them know that you are still shaky on some areas or working with some of the equipment. Since you're honest with them I'm sure they'll be willing to help you.
