I use my jailbroken iPad with BTstack, CoPilot HD, a ram mount and a Qstarz 818 bluetooth GPS when I am in my personal response 4wd. Our critical care unit is outfitted with Google Earth enterprise, Garmin Nuvi, and of course your standard map books on each truck.

I use my GPS all the time and it works great. However it can lead you the wrong way sometimes so, I usually put the address in and as we roll out my partner confirms with the mapbook. Also I like that it shows me the names of the next coming streets so eaiser to find my heads-up cross streets. I run in some real rual areas with just dirt roads and no signs, so it helps sort out non marked roads as well.

I must shamefacedly admit that I drive around with a little ambulance on my GPS screen.

You are not the only one :p
