Some may not if they don't require everyone to drive. Good luck, though, because someone who can drive is going to get priority almost every time over someone who's record is so bad that they can't.

All companies are likely going to require an H6 printout if they're looking to hire drivers. Also, as JP indicated, they're going to probably very much prefer someone who can take either role as driver or attendant over someone that can only perform in a single role.

Once hired, they'll also do periodic "employer pulls" of your record to ensure that you're keeping a good record. Insurability of their drivers is paramount. Most companies probably don't likely have sufficient assets to self-insure, so their insurance carrier demands certain standards to maintain a good (low) insurance rate.

Five is four

This category of question deserves it's own sticky, like the duty to act question.

Best of luck, keep it clean and the question may become moot.

Some driving offenses might appear on a LIVESCAN, which IS mandatory in the whole state. Then it becomes a reliability and character issue. It's tough when a fit of stupidity or ignorance as a teenager can affect you so far down the road, but it's a competitive job market out there.

Every company I've applied to here in CA has required it. My employer just told me that they do periodic checks, sometimes yearly.

I have a quick questions for you guys, since this is concerning a driving record.
i got into a Car accident at 17(i am 19 now) it was my fault cause i was the only one on scene, even though the other car ditched out and the state of CA declined my ambulances permit after i took all their various test, so i am challenging it, because they said since people were injured that i could not get it. the only problem is, is that no one was injured my friend and i walked away, the only reason we went to the hospital is because we were under age we were both 17....
any ideas what to do?

Realistically? Wait till you're 21 and try again since most insurance contracts either severely limits, or outright doesn't cover ambulance drivers under 21.
