Boston Area QA/QI Courses

My campus service recently got a new Director of QA/QI. We're looking into ways to help him adjust to the job and were wondering if there is such a thing as a QA/QI training course. Does anyone know of any, particularly in the Boston area?

Not per se, education on the QA/CQI process comes with experience, leadership and a sense of how things work in the field, as well as how they should work. If you're on a college campus, attendance at an NCEMSF conference is often a good introduction.

Encourage your new officer to get a broad range of education and training within EMS, and most importantly, incorporate a physician medical director as much as possible.

Interesting idea though. Maybe something exists nationally, perhaps as part of an EMS management degree.
