My first post and what an embarrassing one.

I took the Mass. EMT basic test yesterday and failed by a SINGLE point...

That's right... a single point.

I remember a few questions that I had ZERO idea on.

Can i get some help ?

1. Why isn't a blood pressure cuff a good turniquet ?

2. Which of these is not a symptom ?
- chest pain
- nausea
- dyspena
- hemoraging

3. Do to underdeveloped bodies where do you feel an infants pulse ?

These are 3 i remember off hand. FML...

Those are some pretty basic questions. Perhaps you would be better off going back to your textbook and reading the chapters on pediatrics, trauma, and giving assessments.

Wouldn't have posted this if i didn't read !

Then perhaps go read another EMT book, since all three of those were covered in the one I read. I used the AAOS 10th edition.

I see you went back and edited your post while I was typing. What answers did you get?

Instead of us giving you the answers, you could post what you think the answers are.

Big True ^^^

Question 1 - I put cause it would decrease in pressure over time.

Question 2 - Hemoraging

Question 3 - carotid

How big is a babies neck? Is it big enough for you to find a pulse or is there almost no neck?
