Im up here in hydaburg AK and I have spoken to a few EMS workers with quite the job experience.
Anyone here work in alaska before?
If so how did/do you like it?
Any good stories?

My service has students from Alaska who do their clinical time here in Texas.

I worked there for over two years...hence the name AK Flightmedic. Plenty of great stories and lessons learned. Hated to leave, would love to return....someday.

I've heard many good things from people who are still up here. Also, I have been hearing there is a high demand for medics in AK.

What were some of the things you didn't like about it? Any advice you would give to somone moving up to alaska?
