Anyone know of an easy place to get a 911 job in Texas preferably in south Texas? My resume is not looking as good as it used to and I will do anything to get out of doing IFT. I don't care how poor the program is just as long as I will get to practice some clinical assessment and skills.

You may try looking to the west/southwest of SA. I don't know of anybody specifically that's hiring.

South Texas is a pretty broad area. Mind narrowing it down a bit?

So, I've had it with Acadian. Tired of transfers, silliness, Sansio and running every which schedule but consistent. Tired of posting and tired of "emergent" psych transfers and silliness (in all fairness, had a few good calls too). Got an offer from AMR out in the county and I sense it's going to be taken, since I have the GI bill, no kids and dual income.

I wouldn't expect AMR to be much different.

I was looking for the same thing. I put in with Capital and Scott and White, yet to hear anything back. Though i'm a fresh EMT-B right out of school. I know Acadian is hiring medics with a 10k signing bonus.
