In the South, there were a lot of weather warning and advisories this morning for winds, thunderstorms, and tornados.

I'd be shocked if this wasn't weather related.

Yes, the fenestron tail rotor and fuselage appear consistent with the 135; lucky crew, very lucky.

Just goes to show that even dual engine IFR birds are not invincible, despite what some like to make people believe.

So glad that the crew is okay, will be interesting to see the cause.

Going to go out on a limb and say not weather related based on the story. Close to LZ and witnessed being close to ground and coming in fast. I am going to place my chips on either LTE or un-stabilized approach. Glad the crew survived.
