Thanks for the information. Sorry to say. I really have no clue where to find this type of information on CT EMT licensing laws. Could you point me in the right direction? Website?
Starting paramedic next summer. Could someone point me in the direction of a good NREMT-P book to munch on while waiting? Really eager to get in the class room.
Much appreciated. TY.
Hey guys. Been EMT-B certified for a little less then a year. At my high school we have an EMT-B class available. The instructor teaching the class asked me to help out with the students and that I could use this class as my refresher as well. Is this true? If so. How does the whole re-cert and...
14! Thats amazing. I have a little brother who is 14, and is NO WAY mature enough to handle even a simple task. I took my first EMT-B class when I turned 16. Dropped out (just got stressed) Re-took another EMT-B class 8 months later and passed the tests. I feel I am mature enough to handle the...

The only time I would ever trust one is when the pt is in the...
To estimate the volume of blood loss, my EMT instructor told us to take a liter of water and poor it on the ground, although there is a diffrence between water and blood he said you could do that. Haha but I have yet to do it. All I know is stop the bleeding
I took an NREMT-B course. Then, instead of filling out an NREMT application for testing, I filled out for the EMT-B assessment. Passed my practicals, and my computer tests. They sent me my cert # and cards.
So right now I am licensed for the state of CT, now my question is when I turn 18 in...
Hey guys, Right now Im a EMT-B (state certified) because Im under 18 I couldn't go for my NREMT <_<. So I turn 18 in June, would I have to go back and do the practicals AND the written test to be NREMT certified?
