Had a few questions about this. I want to get my instrutors certs in both ACLS and PALS but some places say you need you CPR instuctor first and some dont. Also do any of you know a good place to get these classes at? I appreciate your help. Thanks.

I have a a few friends that work at Americare and the say its ok. You need to remember its just another IFT company and the grass is always greener on the other side. Just be thankful we have jobs.

I understand they cost money, but its a market they could greatly expand into. I guess its just a waiting game to see whats going to happen. With all the budget cuts and cities looking for alternatives to save money its only a matter of time before the private industry makes its mark on the EMS...

What I dont understand is whats the hold up. Why dont the get some paramedics on the streets. I just dont understand their logic. What are they waiting for.

You did nothing wrong. Your partner seems a little burned out to me. All you did was calm the patient, and sometimes thats better than any medication we can give.

Fluids, Atropine 0.5mg and pacing if needed, oh and boogy to the hospital.

I havent heard of them. The price seems pretty uncoventional due to the fact of high patient volumes. I dont know if stryker was thinking when the came up with this one.

Ill be honest. Advanced education should be given when you first enter into paramedic school. As far as ALS vs BLS every patient should recieve an ALS assessment.

If you want great 911 experience Care is the best choice. They are getting really big and they are just getting better.
