Very insightfull!!! And thank you both for being gentle. I thought for sure I'd catch crap for that one. I'd be interested to know what diffrent areas do or don't let their probies do.
now I know that I'm pretty green and all, so I'm asking this knowing that I'll make myself look stupid in doing so, but what is a probie (besides something that goes in your butt ;) ) or is THAT what it is. I'm one on this site, seen it on a couple other sites and on Rescue Me, but I'm still in...
I am currently doing my clinicals for medic school and by far the best place for info on behavioral emergencies is a four hours shift at your local looney-bin. You can find out all sorts of info about local vs. varying protocals, restraints, as well as various stats. Good luck.
Thanx! I don't start until Jan. 10th. they only have 5 FTO's and their training last 3 mo. ( I'm assuming) I guess there were 5 poeple who scored higher than me so they will prob. start this month. But you know you'll hear about it. :P
Last Wed. I tested for AMR and yesterday I got a call with an offer. :D :D Finally!! I'm going to be working part time while I'm still in school, but this is a great opportunity for me to get some experience under my belt. This has been a good week.
I am pretty sure that it is required, but I can't get a straight answer out of anyone. We only have 2semesters left and the only thing schuled is hosp. integration and field internship. I'd say don't stress about it (ACLS) but it won't do any good. You'll still freak yourself out. Just practice...
for my 2 cents definately Paramedics and Rescue me. RM is still early enough in the season where they aren't dropping helicopters on people yet. Plus last week I saw full fledged nipple. Who can't love that on basic cable :P
:D :D :D I FREAKIN' PASSED ACLS :D :D :D Sorry it isn't like me to kiss my own *** like this but I am so relieved!!! Being a student, I feel like an idiot most of the time and maybe I'm not a moron after all. I got a 91% and got every lil' checkmark in the practicle portion. OHHHHH time for...
I am always interested and thanx so much for everyone's kindness. I already told rescuecpt that she rocked the party that rocks the body, but it really does apply to everyone :D
:D sorry :D V1-V6 and AVL look at the septal wall, anterior wall and left lateral wall of the heart. II, III, and AVF look at the inferior wall :Hence: LCA be bloked and RCA not doing so hott either.
