That will vary. My friend got a call before she took the written test. She took it after she interviewed (group interview). She got a phone call and a job offer from HR two weeks after she finally took the written test, but she's a medic. Really, it's likely to be a function of where you land...

I worked full-time, taught part-time, and took a full-time load of university courses in addition to medic school. Granted my program was a traditional sit-down class that ran so many days a week, but things got a little busy from time to time. I put my university on hold during field-time...

I would say to remember that the crew won't let you kill anyone, and they as an EMT, there's not a whole lot you can do that will kill anyone. Just show up ready to learn, and you'll be fine.

This As an instructor for the last 10 years. we can pick them out fairly consistently. The ones that don't care really don't bother me. I put as much effort into those students and he or she puts into the class. Those that try are the ones that I invest my time into. I don't ignore those...
