Thanks for the suggestions so far... -The EMTs are not leaving for other agencies they are just not renewing their card do to not alot of EMT work -Lack of traininging, I am pushing for more and better training too -Or just do not want the liability/responsibility

I would take it, But before you do look into the return policy and see if there is a money back policy if you drop early. But Its lots of fun and dont think it would be a problem and like others mentioned the knowledge is good to have for your kids

I had to write an essay paper on why I wanted to be a medic, Have a current basic license, with CPR, then a basic interview, just the usual questions on why do you want to be a medic, and they explained how tough the program was and that its a fulltime commitment.
