Quizzing yourself with flash cards and online videos worked well for me. Know the "how/why" stuff works is better than knowing answers to questions, if that makes any sense. Reading the book again is also great. No real magic pill to take to pass, just rock solid foundation and knowledge needed.

I think it is a pretty good test prep site in general for both EMT & Medic. Wording of questions is fairly similar to the real thing so it gets you thinking in the mind set you need to be in on test day.

Having a high(er) bar for entry typically weeds out the less serious and committed in most fields.

Also, depending on where you do your required clinical hours, this may be an issue as well with the background check.
