Sorry, but I needed somewhere to vent...

I took the NREMT Intermediate 85 exam this morning at 10:30. I was cut off at about 110 questions. I honestly think I failed, and the wait is killing me.

I can't remember being this nervous! I've waited for SAT scores three times, SAT II scores, ACT scores two times, college decision notifications, scholarship notifications, and of course countless other exam results, and nothing compares!

The guys at the NREMT need to know that this whole, "You may get your results tomorrow, the day after that, or maybe even tonight!!" isn't a good idea. :wacko:

Back when the test wasn't computer based scores frequently took over a month. No use stressing now, test is over. whats done is done.

Either you passed or you you get to retest. Chill out and enjoy the night as the morning will have its own anxieties.

Excellent advice. It is not like it is a one shot deal.

I passed, and I'm happy , but I regret making this thread in the first place because it's a waste of space, so I'll try and make it useful for others:

A few things I noted:
1. I didn't end on a particularly difficult set of questions. They told us, if you're not getting all scenerios by the end, you're not doing well.
2. I was asked three questions twice basically.
3. The results are given out at 8 AM Central time. When I didn't get them at 8 because I live on the East coast, I was "sure" I failed.
