I always have a blanket (or two), a pillow, a spare pair of shoes, a spare set of scrubs, coveralls, a jacket, gloves, a hat, snacks, and a non-alcoholic beverage or two, a puzzle book, and some pens in my car. I've been stranded in the past, and sometimes its the simplest things that make things much more comfortable while waiting for a tow-truck out in the middle of nowhere.
