WOW! What a week...

So yea it has seemed that all heck broke loose during our spring break from EMT-B class. Most of us were trying to get our ride outs done but others had a different fate. We had one of my classmates shot and killed, another classmate lost her dad which they attempted CPR on, another classmate's friend died, another classmate's mother had an MI, and then I found out my aunt also had an MI! I guess that saying "when it rains it pours" has seemed to hold true.

Hopefully this week will be better.

No he was actually at a restaurant with his family eating dinner. Apparently there was a fight in the restaurant, everyone rushed outside and some gang bangers opened fire killing my classmate and severely wounding another person. It was just a case of being at the wrong place at the wrong time.

Wow! I am sorry for the loss of you and your classmates. I also hope your aunt makes a speedy recovery.
 
Yikes.
That does sound like an awful week.
So awful that all those bad things could happen to one class, too. :(

Thank you. My aunt had emergency surgery, she was almost 100% occluded. I guess her heart is still functioning at around 70%. She got very lucky from what the doctors have said.

Yea no kidding! Everyone seems to be doing well though. We are a tough class and we are all pretty close so we have all been there for each other.
