So! I was going to save this till it was more official, but it's basically as official as it's going to get "for me"

I went for a job interview the other day and was successful!

So... if all goes according to "my" plan, I will hopefully be resigning from my current job (IT Technican) soon (in this month still) and work my 1 month notice and going to work full time in EMS in ZA for ER24

Right now, I just have to hand my docs in, get my contract, sign it and then resign so hopefully by March 2012, I will be in EMS full time which was my 2012 goal (or 1 of them)

I'm going to take a massive salary knock, but I'll finally be in EMS which is something I have wanted for so long!

Very exciting times for me but also very scary times.
 
Always nice to hear of someone accomplishing goals. Congrats and good luck on future projects.

But you'll probably stick with EMS anyway.

It's a hafta thing, but you already know that!
 
Congrats. Welcome to EMS. Don't let the negative people you're going to work with change who you are and why you got into EMS. And you WILL work with some guys who just don't get it anymore and should have moved on to something else along time ago. Hope you get many years of enjoyment out of it.
 
I haven't received my contract yet, but rumors have it I'll be getting it Monday, review it, sign it and hopefully resign.
 
So after waiting a fairly long time, I finally got my contract yesterday.
Resign time is today. :)

Thanks all.

Seems I might run into some issues, but nothing I can't suffer through.

Today I got my uniform and such, my boots are too small, but ag, whatever.
I have to work my 30 days notice and then I start hopefully on the 16th March.
It's middle of month so we have to see what happens there.

Looking forward to working with ER24.co.za :)
