When quoting other posts

I've noticed a problem lately with several members incorrectly using the quote tags for quoting another member. The problem usually occurs when they are trying to only quote part of the original post.

What is happening is that the brackets or tail closing [/ are getting edited out of the quote so instead of seeing this

This is a quoted text done correctly

we see this

This is a quoted text done incorrectly /quote]

The leading tag of (quote) and the ending tag of (/quote) are required to properly format the quote tag. NOTE: Use [ and ] instead of ( and ).
