Vein Light

or people like me with carpal tunnel syndrome, maybe useful

since it's hard to feel a vein anymore. Of course, then you need to feel to position the sharp properly.
 
Nevermind. That's REALLY similar but not the same thing as was used with the toddler.
 
one medic here uses a different one, no experience with that particular one. If you really can't feel anything which is rare a nice flashlight does the exact same thing.
 
We really need lights to help us find veins now?

I suppose it's good for those HARD to find veins. But I'm betting if they are available they'll be used everytime.

Had one of these at the museum. Here's my friend's hand.
 
Great pic lucid. The "green" device is cart mounted and big - not for pre-hospital. The accuvein one projects red and is handheld and portable.
